Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone is an extremely poor African nation. According to Human Rights Watch, over 50,000 people have been killed to date, with over one million people having been displaced. People have been raped, had limbs amputated and more. During the conflict during the war, schools and other infrastructure were vandalized, looted, and burned. Children were unable to attend school as education was grounded to a halt.
